fangio with ciocc badges?

Recently bought a ciocc, upon inspection the stays are stamped "fangio".

its obviously not a new spray job, I thought fangio was belgian? Unless its just a case of respray an
new decals on a different frame?

hmmm. I know ciocc did a few concords.

Ciocc were building and supplying frames for many brands in the late 70's both in Europe and the UK until it was sold in 1980. If you check out the Tom Crowther link below there's a fair bit of info about Ciocc. They were definitely building for Concord, Fangio, Roy Thame and Crowther, there's probably a lot more as well. Giovanni Pelizzoli was also working for Fausto Coppi's top end bikes.
