I'm reasonably new to the road side of this site myself but I've started a small collection of eBay bargains.
The guy selling that banana is a dealer very local to me, he's got a lot of nice but over priced road bikes for sale.
I've made him a couple of fair offers in the past but he's never accepted.
Keep looking there are much better bargains to be had.
There's a Raleigh banana in barrow upon Humber for £50 assuming your local enough to collect?

I've never really understood dealers who won't haggle on a sale. I had the same thing last winter when I was looking for a new motorbike. You'd think sellers would be falling over themselves for a sale when snow's on the ground but no one would budge on price. I'm expecting the same thing with bicycles.
Thanks for the tip. I have my eye on a few bikes at the moment but most are just too far away. I'm quite fancying a Carlton, Falcon or BSA as my first vintage bike.
Is the Raleigh Banana on Ebay?
