Falcon Team Banana Cadet

Hi there

I have salvaged and old Falcon Team Banana Cadet frame and was thinking of restoring it, does anyone have any idea what material the frame is made of? There are no stickers to indicate if it is chromoly or hi ten steel. Any info would be much appreciated.

i`ve also got this frame but the previous owner has stripped all decals off to leave me with no clue.

So mine has all the stickers on it but nothing that indicates what it is made off. I did some research on the web and there is not much about these bikes.

I did find some helpful hints that seat tube diameter is a good indicator of frame material , 26mm or bigger indicates a higher grade cromo main tubes.

I also found out that the quality tube sets do not tend to have a seam down the tubes.

I checked my Cadet frame and it has a seat tube that is bang on 26mm and it doesn't have a seam running down the inside of the seat tube.

But to be honest I am still unconvinced it is Cromoly so hoping someone knows the real deal.

Weight is probably a good indicator too.
