Falcon Olympic from late 70s/early 80s (dated by one piece seat stay that only came on later models)
Reynolds 531 steel frame - - size seems to be about 60cm
Shimano 60 front mech and 600 rear mech
Weinmann brakes
SR cranks and handlebars
bought it to commute on and do a rolling resto but i'll now be getting married next year and need to get a deposit together for the venue, so I'm having a clear out of all non essential items!!
As said i bought it to do a rolling resto on so dont expect a minter - chrome is pitted, chipped paint, ideally needs bars retaped, a few cables replaced etc, back wheel has a slight buckle
it can be ridden as is quite happliy, work is a 20 mile round trip which it does fine, but it'd be a lot better bike with a few quid thrown at it or converted to a fixie if you're that way inclined (personally i prefer to have gears)
I reckon most people on here would only want it for the frame so make me an offer based on that and you can have the rest of the bike for free
I dont know a massive amount about bikes, I'm much more of a car person so i hope the pics are of all the right things, let me know if you need more
cheers
Mike
