Falcon EDDY MERCKX (1974 ish?)

It is a blue EDDY MERCKX, with 88044 stamped on the cranckcase. I put the larger mud guards on, but still have the original small (about 6" long) aluminium ones. I believe it will be a Falcon made around 1974.
Whats it worth, if I wanted to sell it please?

Hi Trevor, since nobody has answered your question I will have a bash!

The answer is unfortunately not much. I believe the Falcon Merckx's were mass produced, mass market bikes, and as such had a rather low price and were not produced to a very high standard. I would check Ebay to see how prices are but i would have thought £50 to £80 would be what to expect.
