Fairfax, Caliifornia honors its MTB roots

The artists have added a few new elements to the work previously described. First, here is an overview of the project, which covers two low walls that guard the entrance to a car park.

This weekend a bench was added, four seats and backs. The backs honor the major sponsors including top riders Joe Breeze and Gary Fisher. Wende Cragg was honored by an anonymous donor. The bench seats feature reproductions of Brooks saddles. (The football has no meaning. It was just there when I shot the photo.)

The artists also reproduced the original race posters.
