F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 SOLD

Re: F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 for sale

I'm actually really tempted and might manage to find the time. If nobody above goes for it then I would certainly give it serious thought. Can I take my place in the queue?

Re: F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 for sale

Shame way to big for me, a little smaller and I may have took a chance but I couldn't even throw a leg over that one.

Re: F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 for sale

Hello all, if you have a serious interest, please PM me.

There are several people referring to queuing?

PM sent! Though some like (and others don't like!) the dibs system so I'm happy to see how it pans out...

(it seems to be the favoured system on this site I think)

Yes, that is a tad on the large side!

Love the PBH Rotax - is that yours?

It was, raced and rallied it for 5 years. Sold it and gone modern. (Husaberg)

Have I inadvertently posted wrong pictures or access to all photobucket albums?

No, just me being nosey! I used to do enduros, still do vintage MX, so interested in all that old stuff. I think Vic Allan used to race one of those PBHs in the late 80s.

Re: F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 for sale

When you click on the photos it takes you to photobucket - didn't realise that sorry! I only use it for bikes, to post on here.

Thanks for your pm reply, I think I probably will go for it though I wasn't planning on adding to my collection (more reducing it!) so I'm still mulling it over. Will probably decide later today. Is it a 5 or 6 speed rear wheel? I might run it on a different set of wheels to keep the originals in good nick.

Re: F.W.Evans/Saracen Conquest 1984 for sale

It seems this forum's preferred protocol is the "dibs" system?

The following expressed an interest chronologically:-

fatandforty subsequently out due to size.
elpedro
raiden subsequently out due to size.
DrJo PM received.
Jaypee PM received.

So by the etiquette of this forum, DrJo has first dibs, JayPee second ??

Have I got that right?
