Gav @August Bicycles has done 3 sets of steer tube stretches for me now. Being tall its a perennial problem.

I've abused them pretty well with no ill results. The geometry was spot on..tbh, i couldn't tell he'd even been there.....well other then them being considerably longer!

We built custom motorbike frames with slugs in the tubes midpoint...including on 250kg+ choppers. We have never had one fail even with mr creosote riding them!

I am the proud owner of some P2s...not TB but with a 263mm steerer. The extra length of steerer tube probably adds more weight than I'd save with TB so I'm not worrying too much.

Had to buy the frame that came with them...it must have looked very strange if they were ever fitted though since the frame is only 17 inches.

Anyone want a 1998ish 17inch orange LavaDome. Usual messy paintwork and decals but no dents? £60
