Explosif..... Help to identify

Argos enamelled kona explosif frame.... Anyone know how to identify as an explosif as seller says enamel has covered serial number and I have to take his word for it that it's an explosif. Have agreed a deal in principal but want some expert advice before fully comitting... Ta

Serail would normally still be readable. The paints not normally thick enough to stop it. Thick powder coats can though but Aegis don't do that.

Anyway, it's not a retro Kona or in fact any 90s Kona.

Try the newer bikes to see if they can work out which 20xx year it may be.

Scanning online I think it could be a 2002 true temper ox steel frame as changed to disc in 2003
