Explosif and Cinder Cone

It could be an Explosif, but I don't see any evidence offered to back up the assertion. If it is, I think it must be a 1994 and it's a size 19. Still a good bike to ride.

I'm guessing the cinder cone is also a 19" can you confirm Anthony pls?
Thanks Al
I think it's an 18.

If you look at the head tubes of the two bikes, a 19 is 13cm and an 18 is 11cm, so the gap between top tube and down tube is 2cm greater on a 19 - about 5cm gap compared to 3cm. And that's about what it looks like to me, comparing the two pictures, even allowing for the Explosif top tube being skinnier (if it is an Explosif that is).

The size 17 also has an 11cm head tube, but the seatstays on this bike look too steep for it to be a 17. They should be slightly shallower than the down tube, but these are roughly parallel to the down tube. That suggests an 18, so I'd be fairly confident that's what it is. It's a 1995 bike, and the P2s look to be the correct original triple-butted ones with an orange flare in the decal.
