Im not that fussed
Sports are always available to watch and what not and a very diverse group of sports can be seen at most times of the year
Even at 'best in world' level
Although i would be a bit more excited if i had tickets ^
It is an experience
I live about 5 mile from Hadleigh Castle. (MTB Track....as if you all didn't know!!)
I was really not interested in the slightest.......but now i wish I had tickets....might be able to find a hole in the fence somewhere!!!
I really couldn't care less. I don't imagine I'm alone in thinking that on this side of the border, although I probably wouldn't give a stuff no matter if they were in my own back yard or another continent.
i'd be excited if i had tickets for that.......... but i don't, so honestly i'm not all that fussed.
i'll still be watching a fair bit of it on TV, but i tend to do that with any olympic games.
£9bn to host some diddy sports for three weeks where the flagship event last less than 10 seconds? A pointless vanity project we can ill afford imo.
I'll be watching the athletics as always. As for archery, handball, gymnastics and all the other bits nobody is interested in? No thanks.
Excited? Not in the slightest.
Just another poorly conceived public project badly planned and shockingly over budget. Also see the Dome, Edinburgh trams, Scottish Parliament, Jubilee Line, Channel Tunnel etc. Why can't we do these things properly?
