Hi I'm in Blackheath. Call me on 07595 326 917 and we can arrange a viewingWhere can this bike be seen - if it is still for sale?
That's a good question! It belongs to my club and has been in storage for years. No one can remember the make I'm afraid, but it's Reynolds steel. It was used as our club's track bike for many year and then as an indoor competition bike (on rollers). It was then stripped and stored with various members of the club for many years! What make is the frame please.
Head badge hole spacing might provide a clue - albeit a very small one. Clue that is, not badge. What make is the frame please.
Thanks! That is a good shout, I don't recognise it but there is possibility it's a Gosling but that is unconfirmed. There were a few knocking about at Herne Hill at that time apparently. I've asked around some of the older members to see if the head badge outline rings a bell...Head badge hole spacing might provide a clue - albeit a very small one. Clue that is, not badge.
*Update* It's definitely not a Gosling, that was a sticker used on some track bikes?! Gosling wasn't a bike manufacturer. But definitely period TI Reynolds tubing...Thanks!
