Depends how handy you are. You can do it yourself on the cheap, but it's a lot of work. The bloke who made my woodburner (which does all my cooking and heating from September-April) lives in an old horsebox which is huuuge and cost buttons.
Agreed, though, the 26' twin axle is OK, if not so mobile.

my handy work skills would be ok but i dont want my home shafted if the thing needs garage attention ( i am a mechanic i might add but there is a limit to what you can do in a field with a basic(ish) tool kit
