Watched this unfold in incredulity until 5.30am, still can't believe it. A vote for true DEMOCRACY won and decisively ! Short and probably medium term pain but for long term gain - unquestionably. Hedge fund speculation on the outcome as usual. Sure they made £Bs @$$0s :evil: Speculators love fast moving wild market swings, shorting each way :facepalm:

Here's hoping there are MAJOR reforms in Brussels, transparent voting and lobbying and they listen to their electorates. Nothing to stop us rejoining in 5/10yrs time on better terms. Trade will continue pretty much as before once the markets calm down ;)
 
We've had our fun overnight. And it was brilliant.

I suspect the EU will end up with more pain than we will.
 
While you all jump up an down with joy, remember that a fall in the £ means prices going up for most things...oil and gas for a start is priced in $. If you have a pension then a fall in stock prices will devalue it. Expect interest rates to rise, along with your (or your landlord's) mortgage. Enjoy.
