Although perhaps one of the crustiest riders on here (scaffold pipe bikes in the 70s in Wiltshire as a teenager, Raleigh Mustang (! ....but that’s all there was then), Dawes Ranger but then Cannondale, Marin, Klein) I have only just come onto RetroBike. Until this point my bikes have all been workhorses, and worked hard. I have just got into modern geometry after a series of builds for my teenage son. Until I spoke to Regan_ev I was going to simply use and work through all the rubber in the workshop just to make space...OnZa PORCs, IRC Yetis, Ritchey Z Max, Tioga Psycho K etc etc. Then I realised that for some people the rubber is important and hard to find. I’ve put this Marin Lite over on For Sale 1995 for someone who might like it, at a price which simply allows me to replace it with a contemporary carcass for our current bikes. Like for like....sort of.
