I had an RS1600i in white with 'KEV' in the number plate... It was great.

If you want a cheap convertable, buy an MX5,

Buy an imported version, the Eunos Roadster. Slightly more pwerfull, in standard form, than the uk MX5 and come with loads of kit that the uk ones don't.
I had a V spec up until 4 months ago. It was the only car I have ever sold where I found it hard to hand over the keys . Not the quickest car but the best fun on a summers day bombing around the New Forest

Convertibles

Hi

We also had a black MX 5 and it was great fun. It had to go when number one son was on his way - i did quite a bit of research into boot mounted baby seats but drew a bit of a blank.

I'd recommend everyone to own a convertible at some stage. When the lads grow up and i change the locks i'll be getting another.
