I've been busy fixing the damn things this week so less RB time, it's what I get paid for apparently, although a customer remarked after seeing the piles of bikes and parts kicking about the workshop that 'it's getting more like ducking Halfords in here every week!' apologies if i am repeating others here but im not reading through 7 pages! HONESTLY PICKLE, AT 900 quid it aint really cheap. granted you may make a couple of hundred on it but we are in a declining car market and probably will be next summer too. 900 is a lot of money to have tied up for 6 months on the off chance of making 200

1.6 cvh escorts are awful, I had an XR3i BITD and it was crap. If you want a cheap convertable, buy an MX5, if you want to make a quick couple of quid, don't buy a £900 Escort cab. I pretty much guarantee it will be rusty somewhere, the valve stem seals go at 70-80k or so, and they won't go a lot over 100k without needing a minor rebuild.
