yeah if you went for the top option tent at a grand - if you pitch your own tent its £70. Cant remember what the ride cost last year but I don't think it has changed that much and the festival tickets are still 20 quid.

So a ride and a tent pitch and a parking space are £150.
That's bring your own tent, bring your own bike, bring your own legs and best bring your own food or your own roll of £100s if you want to use the catering!

I know folk get wound up with people criticising it, but it really is a bit expensive. :facepalm:

I suppose there are limited opportunities in the UK to get together with so many like minded people and see so many rare bikes.

I pre-booked a pitch for a motorhome for 3 nights on Newhaven caravan site and it wasn't much different than the organisers are charging onsite (and that was just normal tariff prices)

AT the end of the day, nobody is forced to go. On the whole, I've enjoyed the last couple of years.

Next year will probably be Tuscany and SA. 2019 Japan and Portugal.

Yes booked for the family. A bit pricey but for the enjoyment worth every penny even got my non cycling wife to do the 55 this year and she got hookd. Kids enjoyed it too. This year not so good though in all areas and not just because of the mud. Hope they improve the Biggin stop queues far too long!
