Levers I had were horrible so swapped them out with the half built reyt pack ride.

Got to this point and got bored. Black or ice grey cables? I’m favouring black I think.

Like I said, spares build. Imagine lime green metallic? Red is so, well, red.

The frame needs to be the first thing you see.

Oh and u brace was too narrow for seat stays. Ritchey comp headset was too tight. Hattie Jaques to the rescue. I didn’t know she was Japanese and kept swans. They can break your arm with a beat of their wings you know? Female comedy actresses that is.

This is pretty rarified headset humour :D

Lovely looking bike. I'm 'slightly' obsessed with touring right now and just imagine everything with racks and panniers - this would fit the bill.

Had a neighbour (in Retrobike terms) @Peachy! pop round today and notice that I’d reversed the brake levers continental style. It must be my age. Or the speed with which I built. Or the fact that I promised not to buy another one until this old friend popped up. We decided it was a lovely thing of rarity and deserved to be restored.

Do I stay with the red or go for a very bright lime green?
