Market Deeping is nearest to Stamford but is indeed not far from Peterborough, at least not the last 20 years or so I’ve lived here! *I’m not the aforementioned Nick but nice to know at some time there was at least one other Retrobiker nearby.

Today is the day. I build. Look away look away (S. Adamson) if you’re easily offended. Having only deer head front mech and shifters they will be shelved for when this gets paint. I build from my spares boxes plus a pair of bargain shifters from @retrobikeguy. The black u brake will be my guide. Mam’s black pudding was black as black. Even the white bits was black. (Now living on Yorkshire/Teesside border so channeling the energy from the local leylines that run beneath my house)

It’s a bit battered and scraped but all superficial so good to go. Black. Non period but nothing outrageous this time. Onward to the shed of dreams.
