Have you tried Jan Jelinek? 'Loop-Finding Jazz records' completely blew me away 5 years ago after I heard it on Radio 3.

Got it on vinyl and CD back in the day

All four Bola albums are awesome, and the shapes ep and Mauver ep too.

Got two yesterday on iTunes, really good, thanks for the recommendation!
