For Sale Elastomers for retro suspension forks (front & rear) Plenty different models. Made in Germany.

As a big Kona nut, thank you for this! I will for sure pass this post along to some friends who have one of these Joe Murray design forks.

Do you by chance have plans to make elastomers for the Tange Shock Blades? I have a Shock Blades LT, I guess for Long Travel, and no one makes replacement elastomers that I can find.
Elastomers for the Shockblades will be no problem! I just have to know the lengths. I am very sure they were "the same" as in the Tange Struts GS or Tange Struts Pro.

Tange used very oddly shaped elastomers. I COULD do the weitd shape as well - but never saw any need to. Very normal cylincrical elastomers are very fine for it! Just PM me!

I got a set of replacement EFC elastomer's from fguki. I only really needed the 2nd and 3rd stage ones as the main stacks were in good order. Stripped, cleaned, fresh oil in the damper and these forks are working as good as new. No more top out clunk!

You cant see them, but they're in there...

IMPORTANT NOTE!!! :)

Hi guys! Sorry, bit of a dick-comment here now but its necessary when I look at all the messages I get from you all over time!

Simply sending any images of your forks (that might be new to my catalogue) or your full bikes from rather far away somewhere in a barn or a garage might lead to nothing!

You will have to measure exactly:

1.) The total height the elastomer stack needs to be
2.) Take possible spacer height in consideration and substract them (in number and thickness) from your total stack height.
3.) Measure the total diameter of your desired elastomers and
4.) Measure the bore your elastomers need!

Otherwise I can not help you!

I am not a magician and I also dont have a crystal-ball that can measure carefully and precisely through your images sent over the internet :)

Pro-Flex (as an example) used different heights and different diameters for their bikes over the years. Girvin suspension forks as well! Sometimes, with the pictures I can not (!) see which diameter or bore they used on your particular model! You will have to measure and/or confirm!!!

Cheers and thank you!

In context to all the elastomers offered, I also have a big variety of other parts needed to re-build your beautiful retro Manitou fork.

I took the long way and quite some money to also get the carbon steel inner security rings for the dust wipers of the models:

- Answer Manitou 3
- Answer Manitou 4
- Answer Manitou COMP
- Answer Manitou EFC
etc...

Note: These springs are no standard european part - absolutely not available - and pretty special in diameter and thickness. They are produced exclusively in the US by Allison Transmission, etc..

Price (December 2024): 12,00 Euros / pair (2pcs) + shipping costs
