Ed's Christmas Curmudgeon Ride - 16th December 2012

To show that comments for 2013 don't go unnoticed and not wanting to wait for next year, here's the December 2012 ride details:

Date: Sunday 16th December 2012

Time: 9.30 a.m. for a prompt 10 a.m. start

Ride: flat(ish) road ride planned and led by the Herefordian Scrooge.

Distance: 30 miles (there are various options for extending/shortening as appropriate).

Start and finish: The Crown Inn, Woolhope, Herefordshire HR1 4QP

Post Ride Grub: Traditional roast at The Crown

Height gain: not much

What is the ride like? A bit of up and down on quiet roads but no climbing to speak of. That can be altered at popular request.

What bike set up? Standard gearing (i.e. 39t or 42t up front).

Signing up for this one. If the snot twins keep their germs to themselves (some hope!) and my roller session crash injuries have healed, then I'll be there.

Will my flat-landers gears be OK?

Ed, does the offer of you fitting my new bar tape still apply? The gaffer tape sections are all nasty and sticky on the current setup and it is starting to look like I have sticky streamers attached to the bars.
