i'm selling this on behalf of a friend, so answering some questions may take some time if you have specific questions, but as always i'll do my best

so here it is, an Eddy Merckx Team Motorola bike, it's a retromod spec, and Pete would like to sell the whole bike (without pedals) or if he has to he'll split so there are a couple of prices, not ideal really i suppose but enquiries about the bike first will be preferred unless someone offers the asking price for the frame set.

the frame set will include the frame/fork and campagnolo record headset £500 including recorded post
frame is Columbus Brain tubing in a 57cm (measured centre to top of top tube) with a 55cm top tube centre to centre.

as a bike the package includes everything in the pics except pedals
Campagnol centaur groupset (compact 175mm cranks)
record headset
wheels are Hope Pro3 on mavic open pro rims (easily a £400 wheel set!)
ritchey pro logic bars
nitto dynamic 9 stem
campagnolo seatpost

all this for £800 which i think given the condition (looks barely used since being built) is a bargain.

Re: FS Eddy Merckx Team Motorola frame set or bike

Would like to buy it, but I need it Norway. Is that possible?

Re:

well, yes and no.

please don't take this the wrong way, but you are not local, and you have only 3 posts on the site, and you want it sending to another country, this doesn't give me confidence as a seller. especially since this is not my bike. i'm selling it for a friend and if anything went wrong that would be a massive issue for me.

have you got a regular poster here who could vouch for you? that would go a long way to giving me confidence in a possible sale.

also i'd have to find out the postage cost, i would only send the bike/framset fully insured and recorded, and if that costs a lot to norway then if you want it you'd have to cover that.

i think that's fair enough.
