So I bought this bike frame from a gentleman in Italy and I’m trying to figure out exactly what frame it is as I plan on repainting it or possibly even powder coating it. The frame has a lot of paint missing but no damage whatsoever some rust spots as well. The only numbers I see on the bottom bracket are 127 and the letter “z” on right side. On the left side is the number 3 and the letter “A”. Anybody have any idea on what this might be whether it’s a Corsa or a Super Corsa? I have also included what is left of the tubing decal. Thanks for your help.

I know some early "professional" models were yellow.

According to http://www.cadre.org/Merckx/ -
the A will mean it's a "professional" model.
the Z will make it 1985.
I wouldn't repaint it personally , if the current paint is original.
