Note of caution, if using a Raleigh to tempt newbie's into Retrobike make sure its a good one and that the potential new recruit has no memories of the bad ones :roll:

The point I'm trying to make is, bring something really, really aincient, that has a bit of character, and IME you convert people, as modern, matt black bikes are boring. My mate on the mooring had a boring modern Merlin (not the good Merlin, the ordinary ones). After looking at me riding down on my various retro toys, he's having his first retro bike in the form of a Dynatech, once it becomes warm enough for me to go to the man cave and fit his cables.
