It's been up for sale a few times and the seller seems to think it is worth the $1,500 as it's not changed on the relists

There's a "Make Offer" button, so he at least appears to be open to offers, although that button doesn't obligate him to accept them.
Too big for me, otherwise I'd put in an offer.

Yeah, figured as such. There's a way around it though, and I managed to send him a message. Fingers crossed. I used to lust after these bikes...

nice! thats a very early frame as it has a tubular seat mast and the front mech post is a two piece item. may have 1&1/4" headtube on that too.
