Well, on the downside, I missed out on a Cannondale R500 and a Colnago Titanio (gutted!), but I have just clocked a Giant CFR-2 for £200, which I am rather chuffed with.
Once I've cleaned her up, I'll take some pics - ideally, I'll upgrade her kit from Shimano 105 base-spec to Campagnolo and decent rims, but for now, she's great for the commute and to get fit - I'm loathe to leave the full-sus Giant mountain bike at the station and I would hate to buy something like a Colnago and have it left outside all day!
Not quite sure an 8 year old bike is retro yet, but she sure looks skinny compared to something like a new Pinarello...
