It's going to be transplanted into my 1995 Avalanche..... Will that make it an Avalanche with a Zaskar frame or a real Zaskar?

You replacing the Avalanche frame with Zaskar bits or the Zaskar frame with Avalanche bits?

And. . . if it's the former, what year is the Avlanche and how much you want for the frame?

It will hopefully be a straight frame swap. All the Avalanche parts will be transplanted onto the Zaskar frame.

It's the same 95 model year and size so hopefully everything will be tickety-boo.
The original spec is mainly LX with XT rear shifter and it's got a nice pair of Mag21's with Easton stantions.
Don't know about selling the Avalanche frame yet. Lets see what the Zaskar is like first.
Don't know whether it'll end up being a Zaskalanche or an Avakar, or a real Zaskar?

Went and collected the frame from Buxton yesterday and met the seller. Really nice fella and occasional lurker on here.
He'd owned and cared for the bike from new and was sorry to see it leave and go south. He'd been seduced by younger flesh and had just bought a really nice new Avalanche. At least he's still with GT's.
Anyway, have took everything off the frame and given it a bit of a polish with Brasso and Hey Presto! :shock: :shock: .........can't stop chuckling.
By the way, what doe's LE stand for?
