Need to replace the bearing kit in a Hope Pro2 rear hub and have been looking at the kits on eBay. Anyone got any experience of the kits that are listed around the £10 mark, are they any good or is it a case of buy cheap buy twice?

Go to a proper bearing supplier, there is probably one on a trading estate near you. The spec to ask for is on the Hope site even (6001 2RS or similar). You will pay less than eBay and the bearing will be better quality. SKF/ NSK are among the best. The eBay ones tend to be cheap Chinese ones worth a pound or so each. Decent ones are in the £2-£4 range each.

The ebay ones at a tenner are utter sh1t mate stick with buying local as about SKF or FAG if all else fails NSK they are gonna last 8-20 times longer than the ebay ones

Cheers for the replies, basically confirming what I thought anyway but sometimes you never know
