More from the hilarious world of BMX collectors:

http://cgi.ebay.com/NOS-oldschool-Cook-Bros-Pro-cruiser-handle-bars-boss-pk-/270592649236
NOS Cook Bros BMX cruiser bars: BIN $1300USD
But, as the seller points out in their links, a used pair sold recently for $760USD, which I guess makes these ones very reasonable

http://cgi.ebay.com/NOS-1983-PK-Ripper-USA-made-bmx-frame-Fork-ball-burnish-/270538900011
NOS P.K.Ripper frame & Landing Gear fork: BIN $3,000USD.

Plenty more chuckles available from the same seller.

You have to go to the Rockford, IL vintage BMX show to understand this kind of madness. Truly some amazing bikes and most of the people showing them raced back in those days and have kids or grand kids that race now. Pretty amazing.
