Ebay carbon forks

Don't think these have any- I'll be using discs so not an issue.

The listing says they are part aluminium so assuming thats not just in reference to the steerer tube that would give them more strength

It's most likely that the steerer, crown and drop outs are aluminium, the fork blades will be carbon. Nothing unusual about that set-up. It's more a cost thing than strength.

I didn't bother with these in the end- the carbon exotics I had ended up looking better than I expected on the frame once the wheels were on.
