christmas ride

am up for the 10th dec ed, is also my birthday on the 20 th, and i will be slipping into middle age and turning 40
that will also probably push me into getting some light,s and stop spending money on retro parts

I GUESS IT WILL BE A ROUND ON ME , lets hope not many attend

I'm up for the 10th dec. ride, just a suggestion but how about having our xmas meal after this ride?(perhaps after an earlier start,it being saturday and all!) also it's my birthday early in november so was thinking of having a sat. morning ride at Cannock, anyone else up for that(probably on 12th nov.)

Yes we could have the meal after the ride - but there are a couple of risks - 1. it's going to be a night ride so we can't ride before it gets dark i.e. earliest we could start is around 4pm 2. because we are inviting all and sundry there may be some not as fit as us that slow the pace thus meaning we don't finish in time for a meal. Hopefully this wouldn't be the case, but we need to factor it in.

Would be up for ride on 12th however it is passport dependant as I am away the following weekend at the Real Ale Wobble...

Put me down as a propbable for the 12th at Cannock.
Can't do the Caythorpe Chase this weekend due to enforced grandchildren commitments :(
Agree with Ed re meal after nightride (too uncertain on timing and Saturday a busy night so eateries less flexible on tables).
