We ride from the village hall car park in the centre of Ticknall, setting off at about 7.00, returning at 9. 00 and then to The Chequers.

Rain of biblical proportions. Ticknall main street like a river. inspired decision to shelter in The Chequers, and great fortitude to venture out into the admittedly lighter rain for an hours bimble. And what an enjoyable ride, with bikes returning cleaner than they went out.
