East Midlands Area chat and rides thread

That's an impressive rim problem.

I'm sure we've ridden some of the Blue Route, and found it rather fun.
Your Dad sounds as if he's ready to come in to the fold :)

Hi guys

Thought I should give an update from the southern most member of the midlands group! Have been in Australia for a week and a half now, am living about a 2 minute walk from the beach and around the corner from the Aus Grand Prix track, so there is no need to guess where I'll be this weekend! hehe

Unsurprisingly there are no Ticknall style rides here, it is so much hotter. Have found out my new boss at work does a lot of mountain biking nearby tho, and also helps out with the trail maintenance so as soon as I have bikes I shall be venturing out to explore. Being careful of wee nasties of course  That should be around May time...

Have attached some pics to show the area around where I'm living. Its a lot more inner city so will have to venture further for rides that I needed to in the Midlands! Other than that, life is good here. Hope all is well with you all

M

It's really good to hear you have settled in well.

I am insanely jealous of your proximity to the Grand Prix and I look forward to some pics of those dusty trails come May!
