Should i wear a particular flower in my button hole? or be carrying a certain newspaper?

Not sure how it works, i've never met strangers off the internet in a carpark!

It just stops your chain slipping off in the big gears. You will need one if running 1x9. I'd be upset if I bashed mine

Have you had clearance from the Ticknall Village Hall Committee. If it's not a Farrow and Ball colour you may have problems.

Aagh, I did wonder, but can't work out how. :?

Just like the cage in a front mech stops the chain from derailing the 'bash guard' and a 'jump stop' do the same job. It just keeps the chain on the front when in high or low extremes.

Last Tuesday my chain came off three times...with my new, handcrafted bash guard, not once

I'm bloody pissed off about missing the ride tonight.

By the time I got home at 6.30 I felt much better but it was too late and I'd forgotten to charge my light anyway (although it would probably have lasted)...
