Early-to-mid '90s Fondriest in Columbus Cromor

Bought this in very fine fettle but made a few adjustments, if only because the bars were too wide, the tape was rather garish, and the hoods had near perished: changed the tyres, stem, handlebars, pedals, hoods, bar-tape, saddle.

Very smart :) A bit modern for me so just curious, what's the black object attached to the seat tube?

It's the clamp for my lock. It's shame to have to put it there, but needs must.

Despite the relative modernity, I think the lugs, fluted seat-post, toe-clips, quill stem (albeit black), Campag hubs, chromed forks and chain-stay keep it looking pretty real.
