I made a seperate post for this but think it should be here as well:
1993 Saracen Traverse Elite.
Changes from original: Wheels, stem, bars, and shifters (1995 LX) And fork.

I like the wheels as they are and will be adding better tyres. Cockpit will be getting changed back to Ritchey Forcelight stem and bars though. Still deciding whether to find an original rigid fork, an original sus fork ( just for the look of it, they weren't great ) or an RC35.
it's getting a Vetta SL as well, ( original equipment and just lovely things) and some M525s.
The decals need replacing back to the original foil types, so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I haven't plucked up the courage to remove the black strip from the top tube to see what horrors it covers though. ( I love the colour too much, isn't it gorgeous? )

Well to be honest i didnt really want another project i have been culling the herd last couple of years .
And sold my pace forks and nos forcelite bars .737 shifters etc... Doooeee ..
I Would like to pop the original segmented fork back on ...its out there somewhere god knows why it was swapped for the Indy xc ... But has Correct hubs paralex XT and 101 on Richey Rock 440 rims .and
Use seatpost . Really like it so far, but may be to small for me as 19"was the largest frame option in this model.

Had this 1990 Saracen Kiliflyer Comp all of a day, had to move on as way too small for me and really don't have the time to get it back to standard spec.

@markjohnson76 did you message me years ago about Kili Flier Comp stickers? The one above looks in outstanding condition. A bit different to my battered and much used example!

Had this 1990 Saracen Kiliflyer Comp all of a day, had to move on as way too small for me and really don't have the time to get it back to standard spec.

Blimey, that brings back memories! It has been a long while since my frame looked that good. The Saracen powder coat was noted at the time to be long lasting but mine has seen some action.
Not much standard on there. It was black XT II the whole hog as far as kit was concerned. Even the seat post looks fairly unblemished!

I did! I have a rough one the same size. Not restored it yet. I thought about buying the one above. I’ve got all the right bits for it too….
