Some old scanned in pics.

My first bike is (I beleive) a 1987 tufftrax.

What do you think.........good buy, or goodbye to £36?
I think that looks great, and it will look even better when you've cleaned everything up and re-assembled it. Those 1995-ish Saracens are solid bikes and good looking IMO (especially in that frame size and colour). :)

That's gorgeous BL, a real head-turner! :D

And then the next bike is harder to identify, but its a trekker. I got it in 1989 I think, but it may have been old stock then, I seem to remember it covered in dust at the back of a shop.

It was all XT equipped, so I think it was a Trekker XT limited edition. It had the wishbone seat stays and U brake under the chainstays but no U brake at the front. Here its got Scott AT4 handle bars fitted. I really loved this bike and have not seen another since.

 I'm on the lookout for a yellow one of those!!!

(The Tufftrax, not the Moris Marina ;) )

This is mine - started with a NOS frame bought from Bankrupt Surplus - think it's a Hardtrax from the 90s but not sure of the year.

Tried hard to find matching forks but to no avail so bought the opposite colour - yellow Project 2s, and that set in motion a (more or less) purple and yellow theme, until this was the end result.

My eyes my eyes, my beautiful eyes

Nice frame, lovely coloured forks, but horrible yellow tyres!

Yep. very marmite. I like coloured tyres myself but they are only cheapo kendas. Will do til I find something nicer.

 Has to be one of the greatest tip finds ! looks pretty immaculate even has reflectors for extra un-used-ness , Big ring all the way ?
