Two questions:
1. there are two valves in the top of each leg that appear to take some properiatray fitting - it is a small diameter male threaded end. Do I need a RS pump or is an adapter available to allow the standard car valve pump?
2. I want to take them apart to see the innards and service them; on one leg is a black plastic adjuster - how do I remove this? (other leg has 6 mm allen bolt).
Can get photo if it would help. Don't know the year but would guess 2000 ish.
update The black plastic adjuster knob just pulls off - it is a cap on a 3 mm ? hex shaft that goes through a hole in the bolt. There is an adapter to allow the use of a regular car type valve pump, £ 6 from ChainReaction....... can you guess to which online bicycle store I am heading to next ???? :?
hmmmmmm have CR started to charge for postage?!?!?!?! .... seems to ne the case if order is less than £ 9; bugger, need to buy some cheap item then ....
