Before I go mental. Am I right in my measurements of the steerer on my forks being only 1". I admit to being a numpty some of the time but not all of the time. I'm after some cheap suspension forks for a charity coast to coast ride next May. Hopefully to take the sting from my wrists !! Loads on E-bay but pretty well all 1 +1/8th ".

Early were 1", yes.

What year is your frame?

Apparently built 93 so is a 94 frame but with old prestige paint job

1" it is i reckon - my later 95 and 96 built frames are both 1"...

Ta fingers. Just need to find cheap forks or new elastomers and steerer tube for my shocktech forks ( hopefully the later )
