Took the courier out for a blast in the woods with the missus yesterday. I'm still amazed by how great these old bikes ride compared to a lot of modern bikes.

They do feel great to ride and possible more fun too. The courier comp rides better than a trek 4 series I've got, and a ton more fun than a spesh rockhopper I had.
then again single speeds are a lot of fun.
They are Charge Splashbacks, I'm not 100% sold on them looks wise, although they do go better with dark anno rims that silver ones but I can't run to 2 set of Timbuk2 re-issues from firstflight. It was £40 delivered for 4 off eBay vs about $160 + delivery, customs and VAT.
For me Im trying to get mine to be as they would have from the shop, but it seems that the brochure is slightly out when it comes to what was actually on them. So makes it a bit more difficult.
Had they been a frame and fork only then I would have put era correct parts on them.
