Early 90s MTB - Claud Butler Cape Wrath (probably!)

It is not Titanium and not Marin.
It is Nickel plated Steel. Probably prestige tubing.
There are massive obvious differences when viewed through a connoisseurs eyes.

Definitely not a kona. The geometry is all wrong. Cape Wrath looks very convincing. Not sure if it's prestige tubed, looks a bit too chunky to me.

In another twist... I had someone in a bike shop take a look at it on Saturday, and he thought the frame could be a Kona... any thoughts?

Looks like it's a Cape Wrath then (and still for sale in case anyone wants to make me an offer!!!!)
