Early 90's KHS Aero Team

This popped up local on FB marked and the very last thing I needed was another project but hey hoy, it's now in my garage. I'v got most of the bits to build it almost factory spec, just a little worried it might be a touch small for me but i'll give it a go anyway.

Little bit of an update to get to rolling chassis stage, some nice 105 components including hubs and headset. Cinelli criterium bars and stem, although the stem is a 90mm so too short im going to need a 120mm to get the reach right. Saddle is a nice suede Turbo (which i accidentally got a grease spot on while building) Cassette is a 12-21 8sp which i'm going to match with a 52/39 chainset. The seatpost im not keen on, it's just a basic UNO post in 26.4mm but it seems a bit slack for the frame even though it's apparently the correct size, I might try and get hold of a 26.6 to see if it's a better fit.

Finished and im really happy with how it's turned out.
Maiden voyage out tonight which was wet and gritty lanes but bikes are built to be ridden and this one rides beautifully.

Great tape! Tidy build all round. Maybe a white saddle would balance it for me but it's a grand build. Glad its a rider too!

I dont disagree, a white turbo would look lovely on there but I had that nubuk one on another build, it does look better when it's not half soaked with muddy water.
The only finishing touch i'd really like for it is one of those Zefal frame pumps in the same neon pink for under the downtube, I remember them as a kid but cant see one for sale anywhere.
