Having had this on the back burner for a while I thought I would put the thing together at last. I bought this from another member on here a while back, being seduced by the rather lovely version owned by LGF on here.

The copper glittery paint was also a bit of a sway. The OH also approved of this, which is a massive bonus in terms of storing it in the house ;)

I've pretty much everything I need to build it up with the workman's favourite, Deore DX. The original forks (if there were any) had long since disappeared, so I scored a pair of P2's from Ebay that look the part.

Here is is so far after the fork/headset fitting and a good polishing up, the tyres are strictly temporary until I finishing cleaning up the wheels. Amongst all of the other frame details, I particularly like the 'Made in England' decal!

It's a weird finish, but I like it! Also, how many of those one piece bar/stem combos have you had Joe?

I can assure you this is the only other one I got Roly...! This one isn't as good as the other I passed onto you and has been chopped a bit, but still looks cool. A bontrager parts stash would be awesome mind you.

Finally been able to get away from work and carry on with the build. So far tyres switched for some brownwall contis, chainset is on, sourced a nice Turbo from Ebay and some natty silver skewers from a member on here :)

Re:

Finally managed to knuckle down and do a bit more on Harry!

All controls are fitted including some thumbies sourced from another kind chap on here. ODI grips and some SS7 levers (swopped off another bike) finish things off nicely. Also spruced up the cantis I had lying around with some Ritchey Logic pads (the old style meaty ones, that I find work very well).

Just cables and outers to do and he's ready for action :D

Re:

Beautiful bike!
I do think a black seatpost would make it look even better though.

Nice

Mine was always going to be too small but managed to stretch things a bit. The ride is actually quite good in an arse up head down sort of way.

Here it was in its final incarnation before it was sold
