In Tour de France, Z team rode Merlin bikes. But in 1993, some road full suspension road bikes prototypes for Paris Roubaix were made by Clark Kent. But titanium mtb sold under Lemond brand were buit by Litespeed.
Lemond loved Carbon fiber and rode his last Tour de France on A Calfee made bike. Craig Calfee made him some mtb carbon fiber prototyp too
