Early 00's Trek 6500 - Rear Caliper Mount?

Hi Folks. Any idea what standard this mounting location is on the frame. I assume it was for a disc brake. The hole centers are strange at less than 30mm so normal 34mm flat mount is no good.

any info is much appreciated

Hayes parallel mount. A2Z do an adapter AD-PMR.

Unfortunately not, I was looking yesterday and everywhere seems to be out of stock. Its just a bit of angle so have considered trying to make one.
