e stay bike

i picked up a bike yesterday with high e stays,full lx groupset inc canti brakes, its been powder coated so no original stickers on it,how would i find out what it is,its defo old school with the old type headset and canti brakes,feels quite light and rides sweet as..i bought it for someone as i knew they were after a bike,but after riding it,i like it and may actually keep it and let him have one of my dales..lol


so the question is,who made high e stay bikes besides alpine stars(its steel,not alloy)

Your best option is to post a picture. Chances are that someone will recognize it.

Plenty of no-name ones too.

Luckily we can already rule out the likes of Rafty, Pirana or Trimble due to the lack of steel models.

Loads of e-stay frames, lots of which were steel, like the Scott Pro Evolution for instance
