Neither.
Ignore the march of DSLR's and buy a proper 'LR'... a TLR ~(like this one) and then get yourself down to my friend and I's darkroom we are opening and discover (re-discover) the wonders and beauty of retro photography.
(if anything like the 350d/ 30d era (which i imagine they are very much so), they'll be very similar innards with different packaging/ build.
They'll all do what you could want them to do probably and they'll all produce dfine results. Go and try them out in your hands and see which one you'd prefer to handle/ lug about on a daily basis.
As referred to before on here I think this sums it up perfectly...
*My pal's 350D and my 1DMKIIn have near identical innards. Same Pega Mixel count, similar sensor, same processor etc...
*Both will take a picture of Hugh Grant coming out of his house and chucking a bin at you.
*Both will deflect said bin and save your noggin.
*Only one will carry on taking pictures of him wandering off down the street mumbling and swearing about things that should happen to you.
