Dropped Fat Chance TC

It all started in February this year with a reply for my "wanted" topic. I was offered a frame... not exactly the one I was looking for. It was much more.
Usually I build bikes from m900 to m952 era. This was something different. My first 1990 frame. No xtr. No cnc bling and.. just basic knowledge. Thankfully, we all have uncle G. :!:
So it got me. It really got me all.
First : garage sale. Second : mombat. Third : digging through the web.
As months passed I've repeated that circle trillion times (I still do it)

My goal is :

a) Not a single japanese part - just italian, us and french - not achieved - bb bearings are NTN
b) Weigth under 11kg - again - not achieved - Campa is stone HEAVY
C) 1991 as a latest production year - I've won this battle

This is/will be the Result

No clue yet what the frame is, but parts wise it is a damn pretty start.
Please tell me you are not using those horrible Euclid brakes though...

I hate to have to say this but I am pretty certain those Specialized rings on the Cooks cranks are made by Sugino AKA Japanese, otherwise looking fantastic.

I thought so, but just wasn't sure. They won't be fitted, I already have a replacement.

I can assure you no euclid brakes here. I have found even ugliest ones, but I just kinda like them though. I like them a lot actually.

It should be a supernice drivetrain. It wasn't. It's like Italian supercar from the late 80s. Simply beautiful. And noisy with poor shifting.

Cook's new look.. or two. Haven't decided yet.
Ofmega rings, Kronos alloy bolts and Avitar titanium inners. 27g saved.
I'm still not exactly sure when they were founded. SRP hit the market in 1990 so... Kronos might have been there as well.

Ofmega stays.

Second thoughts. Campagnolo is the right way.

Collecting bits for a project not that far away from this theme, although Japanese are allowed it's contribution is minimal.
